Whick is a Tsukumogami, a cast iron lantern old enough to have a soul. She appears to be the oldest in a small group of other Yokai who run a repair shack, saving other Tsukumogami who need help.

Hidden deep into the woods north of Shadowglen, people often mistake the old shack as abandoned. The curious of them will peek inside, finding objects scattered in various places. If they decide to take an object from the shack, they will soon be haunted by a hooded figure with a pike adorn with a hook, hanging a cast iron lantern. This usually frightens the people enough to give back or leave the stolen items behind, in which the haunting will stop. In reality it's Whick, dressing up in her dusty cloak, searching for her friend who was kidnapped! Though it's intimidating she carries a weapon with her, she really just likes to hang the lantern to something sturdy while she travels. She's too timid to attack anyone!
