Name: Jason Lee Haynes
Age: 23
Birthday: January 12th
Hair: Auburn
Eyes: Hazel
Height 6'1
Playby: Eric Puzio
History:
His youth was best described through images. Through scarred knees and embarrassing bath time photos taken in a dingy, South Carolinian trailer. Through the hopeful smile of a child with children of her own. Through a cemetery plot bought years too early.
Jason was the second child born to nineteen year old Sara Turner and eighteen year old David Haynes. He was born one year after his brother, and ten years before his sister, in a hospital with only twenty-five beds. His mom worked as a hairdresser at a small salon while his dad faded in and out of employment as a mechanic.
Sara and David never got married, but were frequently engaged until finally parting ways after the death of their oldest child.

His name was Terrance and he'd died before he could drive. Jason had been thirteen and, as far as he could remember, Terry had always been sick. He had cystic fibrosis and was on a waiting list for a lung transplant at the time. It wasn't a shock, really-- Jason had grown up knowing his brother could die at any time--, but it was still a vastly painful experience for the family.
When Jason was eighteen his mom finally moved out of the trailer park and into an equally modest (but, thankfully, much less mobile) home. She'd gotten married to a consistently employed contractor just after her son's graduation.
Jason realized his family was more than a little white-trashy, but, he also knew that his mom (and sometimes dad) had worked hard to give him the life he had, and was gracious for the affection, love, and sometimes discipline. He wouldn't trade them for the world.

Personality:
At first glance, Jason seems like any other opportunistic twenty-something; full of lust for life, and an inherent air of smugness. It's not that he isn't those things, of course. It's just that there's a bit more to him.
Jason is his own number one fan. He's always got a clever quip up his sleeve, or something to say. He loves to talk, and, honestly, isn't half bad at it.

While he is his biggest fan, he’s also his biggest critic. If something isn’t just right, then, in Jason’s eyes, he’s failed. This translates into Jason being a hard worker, with his eyes always on the prize.
He’s generally a very ‘all or nothing’ sort of guy. He knows what he wants out of life and won’t quit trying his hardest until he gets it, and expects the same from those around him. He doesn’t like to be around passionless people, as he feels that they will hold him back.

Jason is very creative and, in his mother’s words, ‘original’ (in his own words, ‘honest’). He does exactly what he wants to in life, constantly looking for new way to have a good time. Sometimes his passion and activity scares people off, but, he’d rather people like that not be his friends.
It’s hard for Jay to sit still for too long without getting fidgety, and can get testy if he gets stuck doing nothing for extended periods of time.Overall, Jay is a friendly and determined young man. He’s always eager to have a good time and share the fun with others. He is always eager to meet new people and share things he enjoys with others. He does his best to live in the moment, but still likes to keep his goals in mind and remember his past successes.
