-----Jayson's story would take place in a post-apocalyptic world where earth is completely uninhabitable because of its toxic atmosphere. Thankfully, though, scientists have manage to create two very significant things: a large, completely sanitized building capable of housing thousands of people (these are called Centers), and gas masks connected to oxygen tanks which can supply the user with approximately half an hour of clean air (enough to go outside; the air now can't be converted back because it's so dirty). People claim that going Outside for even fifteen minutes guarantees you death because of what you'll inhale.

-----The Centers are headed by one government, which is headed by one person called X (no name yet). Anyway, X controls everything, but he's a pretty chill man. As long as he gets what he wants, he's fine with anything. He takes great care of his daughter, Y (no name yet), who secretly wants to go Outside and see what's happening outside the world.

-----Jayson's an Outsider, which means that he's someone living Outside ~~no kidding~~. Contrary to popular belief, being Outside doesn't kill you. In fact, if you breathe in the toxic air, it grants you a random mutation or ability, but not without damaging your physical appearances. Pale skin covered with smoke, dull-colored hair, and an enhanced sense of seeing are some examples. The only reason people are sent Outside is when they don't have enough money to pay for their stay in the Centers, but, mind you, there are a lot of Outsiders.

-----In order to live, the Outsiders pretty much just scavenge for food. Those more daring, like Jayson, enter Centers and steal whatever they can - gas masks, food, money - and give them to their head, Z (no name). Whatever they get's stored in a bin. To get an item from this bin, you'd have to fight your way through the other people who want to get items here, too. Other from it being violent, though, it's a pretty fair way to earn yourself some food.

-----Jayson's pretty much exempted from this, though, because he's the one who gets most of the things. Jayson never knew his parents, but grew up under the care of Outsiders. There, no one has parents. They're all one family. Within the Outsiders are those who were sent away for wrong, unjust reasons, and are those who want to take down the government.

-----Basically, what will happen is that Jayson will eventually make sense of the government being unjust and join the rebels. He would try to bring it down, but would get caught. He would be forced to work in X's office, but he'll still try to sneak out some things for the Outsiders. Eventually, he figures out that he's actually the son of the government's co-founder, who X had killed in order to take the power all for himself. Then his journey to discover who he is and what he needs to do to bring back order to the world will begin!
