The people, who were always before in motion, busy and bustling about mindful of nothing more than their own lives, had frozen. Their heads craned up to stare at something far more frightening than the silence that now rang across the entire world. Place by place, no matter where or what they had been doing, they all read the words hanging in the sky over and over, too shocked to make sense of what they read there despite the repetition.

"I agree, it was quite the shocking reintroduction, but it's a drastic time. You'll understand more as more time passes."
The man relaxing on the chair surrounded by countless cameras proclaimed as he leaned back more comfortably deeper into the cushions and sent a flashingly bright smile to reflect from the countless lenses that surrounded him and the handsome television host. His languid pose showed the definition of his perfect body.
"Can't you explain a little more clearly? So many people are frightened and confused by your display of power and the actions you have already taken to change humanity...I'm certain that if you straightened things out...those in...doubt...will..."
He trailed off as the other man raised a hand and leaned forward to speak again.
In comparison, the carefully groomed man, the host, although impressive in human standards, had little chance of notice next to the new stranger. His teeth were white and straight, his blonde hair carefully cropped, skin a healthy tan, but still, his combination of artificial and natural charisma was but a leaf unable to fight in the gale of the god. His teeth gleamed with the warm smile. His long and rare dark gray hair fell in waves down his shoulders, spilling down his back, his shining golden eyes shone with striking and beautiful contrast to the darkness of the hair framing them and the skin surrounding those was a color that everyone had seen, but nobody possessed. It was a combination of every race and every color and the man's entire visage reflected this strange, seemingly impossible unity of everyone. His voice did too and he had an alluring accent that was always familiar, but was as if it were always on the tip of placement and never breached that point into true recognition. His perfection, it seemed, was a natural gift rather than something that had to be worked towards and it didn't help that the host was visibly shaken under such a powerful aura and fidgeted nervously.
"I truly am your God, the same God you have worshiped since your creation. I gave you all the means and knowledge to live out your lives in happiness and harmony, whether it was by stone tablets, passed down from heaven, or through my word, spoken through the lips of holy men." His smile faltered and broke into a devastated frown as he continued, "Instead of following my wisdom and living. Many of you, far too many, have chosen over the course of centuries to sin and murder. To do harm and feed your hatred far more often than your love."
The perfect being spoke and although his voice was soft, his inflection calm, there was a deep power in each and every spoken syllable that had the billions listening still stuck in that same silence that had fallen days ago when the entire world's population of murderers, rapists and abusers had fallen to the ground in unexplained pain. Their screams had been echoed by countless all across the globe and the world had not fallen into the same hushed silence that had not yet been broken as the stranger had visited his people. The screaming before this silence had not halted until the afflicted were either taken to hospitals and heavily sedated, or forced into unconsciousness as the people around them could take it no more.
Then the glowing words had appeared in the sky for all to see. Or perhaps they had been there the entire time, the shock prevented anyone from knowing for certain.
Over and over again in strange characters that, although none had ever seen the language before, all could read.
Silence these sinners, for their pain will not end until they fall into blessed rest. Know that they have sinned against God and for that they are now to be known by all as the monsters they have chosen to become. The clean may rejoice and the evils tremble, for your Creator has returned to guide his lambs into the light of heaven and his grace!
"I have been with you always, walking among you passing from mortal life to mortal life, suffering these very evils I have seen. I speak from experience and I have seen both the dark and the light side of my children and I have decided to return to you once more. Not as a man, but as a God. I have given you all the freedoms I can offer and have found that you are in need of my guidance. Evil runs rampant, not by the power of itself, but by the power of those men and woman that harbor and spread it like an infection. That will end now." His eyes held genuine sadness in his words and despite the subject his voice never once lost it's temperance, "Those sinners that I have felled, only suffer to the extent of the pain they have inflicted upon others. No more and no less. Those that suffer the longest have done the worst and have only brought this on themselves. The pain will end however! Once the last dull aches fade away their spirits will be cleansed and they will be free and fit to rejoin you if they so choose. I will no longer tolerate my children to harm one another and I bring forth a new age of peace."
