"You don't know what it's like to lose everything you love!!"

Spartrix once was a kind wolf. When he was young, he met a beautiful she-wolf by name of Prisma. Prisma was pure white, with the exception of her wings. Her wings would shimmer and shine in all the colors of the rainbow. She was the most amazing creature Spartrix had ever laid eyes upon, and he loved her dearly.

And then, quite suddenly, one day she was gone. Spartrix searched and searched, flying high and low, near and far. Finally he found her, barely breathing beneath her favorite tree. When he leaned over her, Prisma met his gaze, eyes surprisingly bright.

"Dearest Spartrix," she said quietly. "I love you so much...."

"What has happened to you?! Who has done this to you?!" Spartrix cried, looking her over for any sign of injury. There was none.

"Goodbye, my love. Take care."

"Prisma! Don't go! Don't leave me!!"

But it was too late. She was gone. Her body grew cold and her breathing stopped. Spartrix hung his head over her and wept.

And yet, she was not dead. Her breathing was actually only nearly stopped. It was so soft, the naked eye could not detect it, and the naked ear could not hear it. And so her body did not rot or wither. Spartrix visits it every day, marveling and wondering as to why his beloved remains.
