Huh. Let me think for a moment.
I mean, I'm not sure anyone's asked me my story before.
Everyone just assumes that because they don't know or understand what the big scary thing is, that it doesn't have a story, you know? Or feelings, I guess.
But everyone has a story, even scary monsters with big teeth and claws who used to live under bridges until they realized that living under bridges meant constantly wet fur and slime between the toes. Um. Hypothetically speaking, of course.
There's a story behind everything, really. I mean, why do you think I ask for people to bring me only a few very specific items, the little treasures that they have to take the time to find or unpack from storage, rather than just ask them to bring by anything at all?
Well, besides the fact that I need certain raw materials for craft projects...people ignore or discard what they think has no value.
Sometimes, it takes someone else to draw attention to what treasures have been overlooked, forgotten, or ignored.
Sometimes, it just takes another look to realize the value within.
