As the sun shone through the thick canopy above, all the forest began to wake. Fora crawled sleepily out of the hollow tree she called home. It seemed the whole forest was full of life, ready to start a new day. Fora gave a brief yawn, stretched her tired legs, and waddled down to the Glade to sip from the crystal waters. She watched all the beautiful scenery, Deer jumping through the dim streaks of light, butterflies collecting pollen from freshly opening flowers, and moss dripping wet with the mornings sparkling dew. A mouse crawled across the pathway seemingly half asleep, stopping Fora for a few moments to stare up at the green ceiling above. As the sun grew brighter through the woodland growth, Fora remembered how lovely spring time was.
