After the End of the World the goddess created protectors of the earth. The druids protect her forests, and the mermaids her seas. The gryphons watch over her skies, protecting the earth from above, silently watching over all, awaiting the day the goddess is needed once again. The humans, however, were given a special gift. The wisest species knew not to follow past mistakes. Humans, however, have short lifespans, and knowledge is often lost among the generations. Glenys knew of this, and blessed the human race with the ability to see through time so that they may not make the same mistakes they once had. Even with this gift, however, it seemed as if humanity was heading towards it's own destruction.

Glenys was not picky when she bestowed her gift: there would be one oracle every generation. He or she would be born with lavender eyes and white hair, and had extended lifespans, longer than any other humans. They were immune to disease, but not immortal. Any physical trauma could still end their lives. Calista was the newest child born and the oracles usually kept to themselves but some greedy dude searched for her and kidnapped her and the knight guarding her fell in love with her and helped her escape and now they are trying to get glenys help because humans are dumb.
