Darren deVries. A genius with numbers referring to himself only as Hyperion to show his superiority. What he is able to calculate in his mind alone others cannot even solve with a computer. From the day he was born rather withdrawn and living in his own world the misunderstandings, that often hit those with a special talent, fed his recluse nature even more. The outcome is a bitter young man whose only comforts are horribly complicated calculations and C2H5OH, in the "world outside" however he sees no place for himself. So small. Stupid. Ignorant. Ants. Mindless ants. At least there is one non-mathematical thing that he knows for sure: If he had to choose between mankind and his numbers he'd be able to spit out the answer without the help of a single brain cell.
