Apex is a nineteen-year-old keeto-clawsion hybrid, and is a freshman in college, majoring in art - paintings, traditional techniques, and whatnot. Apex grew up watching Bob Ross reruns every day, and this sparked his love for drawing. Along with that, he also loves to play tennis, and is a member of his college's tennis team. He considers himself an average player at best, but that's mostly modesty talking, as his room at his parents' house is filled with tennis trophies, in addition to other miscellaneous awards. Standing at just under 5'10", Apex has an average height, and an average build. He doesn't have much muscle, despite strength and endurance training, but he is strong, quick and light on his feet, as well as a fast runner (he occasionally calls himself a ninja).

In general, Apex has a well-rounded personality. He's energetic, perky, and goofy, and loves to hang out with his friends. He has little to no experience with love and relationships, however, which makes him pretty innocent. When they first met, Apex did develop a bit of a crush on Desiccant, but that quickly fizzled out as they grew to know each other and became close friends. They do spend quite a lot of time together, between sharing majors, classes, and Desi attending Apex's tennis matches. Some people do assume they're closer than friends because of this.
