Light streamed in from her windows, traffic bustled outside, in the hall she could hear the Janitor vacuuming the thin rug.

Another day she gets to open her eyes.

Another day she didn’t deserve to have.

She idly pulled at the stitches around her arm, she would need Amid to re do her stiches at this rate. 10 am, music was playing from somewhere in the building. She sighed as she stretched her wings, in her loneliest moments she could remember the day clearly. The day that a stranger decided to play Shinwa, and bring her back.

She couldn’t really be angry that she was alive, so instead she felt nothing. She didn’t hate Amid, but she didn’t like him either. Yet she still volunteered to help him with his lab work and other experiments.
