The Tranquil Story

Daruma lay under the towering oak. Although the tragic death of his cat left him distraught, it took him no longer than a few hours to grieve and accept his loyal companion has moved on. He believed that death was nothing but the next adventure after life.

The parting was inevitable, anyways. The old cat was growing weaker everyday...

Nevertheless, the cat bestowed an everlasting band of friendship and love. Daruma will never forget the first time he met Dharma. A stray kitten wandering aimlessly by his small house. He remembered coaxing it out of the trunk of the oak that stands towering over him now, it's leaves rustling with the wind. He cared and nurtured the pure white feline back to full health. Their fondness of one another blossomed into a true bond...

Ah, well. He's gonna have a good time, where ever he is...

His hands were folded behind his head, and his feet were spread apart evenly. Daruma tilted his head slightly at the sound of his wind-chimes delicately ringing. He looked upon the simmered sky once more before turning his head and drifting off into a quiet sleep. All he could do now was live on in peace. Perhaps one day, he will be reunited with Dharma. He smiled to himself at the thought of it...
