A young woman with flowing brunette waves for hair and dark brown soulful eyes. White toga lined with black cascading down her thin frame. Black wings protruding from her back, pristine in their grooming as they stretched out, feathers all brushed to perfection. It would be a haunting image if not for the fact that the girl was so sweet, so kind.

Her eyes cloud over as a vision blinds her sight, her mind opening as the future is placed in her thoughts. Thousands of years in the future, a girl much like herself, the only girl who will ever be like her again, in a similar demeanor as herself. This girl will lead their kind into their final phases, their bloodlines ending with her generation. How ironic that the curse that began with her generation would end with this girls'. The mysterious girl that seemed to be so much like her, the girl who would be the only other half of a set of twins to both receive their curse. Oh how Katina longed to know this girl more than she could through her visions. She seemed so brave, so powerful, like a true leader, something that Katina could never be no matter how much she longed for it.

"Katina what are you doing out here? I thought we agreed you were best suited to stay inside. It is much safer for you."

The voice of the lone male Agathos broke her vision, making images of the fearless girl escape her sight into a deeper part of her brain. Heaving a sigh, Katina turned, allowing herself to be led back into their home, knowing she would not see the outdoors for a long while.

For all that the world was claimed to be too dangerous for Katina and her rather passive natural abilities, she knew the truth. The others feared she would learn how to use the elements each of them held so dearly for herself, something she had already began practicing in secret. Her visions had shown her how easy it would be to master all of the elements in her own way using her mental powers. If given the chance, she could be more powerful than any of the other Agathos, she could become their leader. However, this was not meant to be, Katina had already seen her future, and no matter how much she wanted more, she knew that she couldn't change her own future.

As she was left in her quarters, she sat on her chair and began writing about her visions of the girl from earlier. Katina allowed her mind to open, to let her gather information about this girl as she wrote about her in the journal that she kept hidden from everyone else. Sarah, the future mental Agathos, shared so many qualities physically with Katina, but the Grecian woman could tell that this future woman had a fire about her that Katina would never have. She watched as her mind allowed her to watch Sarah learning to hone the elements with her mental powers. It was such a beautiful thing that it brought tears to Katina's eyes.

She was finishing off her entry when her mind jarred, showing her a moment in time that she never wanted to see if she could help it. The ending of their kind, the ending of Sarah, a girl she would never know but had grown so attached to already. She watched in horror as Sarah had a vision of her own, not pausing for a moment in her haste to stop the tragedy from happening, and in return ending her own life, and ending the curse of the Agathos.
