You mention your name; her ears seem to flick in mock attention. But she does not respond, whatever she is concentrating on must have been important. It isnâ€™t until you ask again that she answers. â€œYes, yes. Heâ€™ll be with you in a moment; you can take a seat over there. Please have your payment ready.â€

You sink into a plush leather armchair, noticing the bronze colored lion bookends that kept numerous law books in order on the large hardwood bookshelf. On the side table next to you was a small ticking clock and you watch the large arm move from 12 to 2. The receptionist is still staring intensely at the piece of paper.

â€œI knew it!â€ She says loudly, marking something on the paper happily with a joyous smile across her face. She notices you and seems surprised, but it only lasts for a moment as she grins at you. â€œSudoku. It will be the end of me. By the way, do you like the new office? I decorated it myself.â€ She says proudly before going back to her puzzle. She quickly raises her eyes again. â€œWhat were you here for again?â€
