The sun has born a brand new day
Conscience has been cast away
Evil has been blessed with praise
Heroes end up in their graves
So who will be our saviour now they've shot your angels to the ground?

Hanah grinned, and started to laugh as she squeezed the life out of her victim with her bare hands, who was wriggling beneath her as she sat on their legs. "Now, now, if you stop struggling this will be so much quicker." Her grin widened as they gasped and quietly stopped moving beneath her. "See, that wasn't so hard..."
Leaning over, Hanah licked their face, and breathed in deeply. "Ahhhh, the taste and smell of a dying angel is so sweet. Like a delicate chocolate. The young ones taste ever sweeter." While still sitting on their legs she searched through pockets and pulled out a letter. Opening it she stood, as the body was now fading away. The feathered wings turning black from their brilliant white. Eventually they will turn to soot. Gasping, she dropped the paper on the ground and hissed. spinning around to see an angel standing before her.
Hanah had seen this one many times before. She never understood how she managed to get away from him every time. Maybe he had a thing for her... Flicking her tail back and forth with anger, Hanah took a few steps forward, but was halted when he raised a hand. She glared at him. "Did you send this newbie after me? You knew it would have been suicide for them." The angel just stood there, glancing beside Hanah at the fading body of the young angel.
"It's true I sent her after you. She knew what she was getting herself into, as she volunteered to do this job." Hanah folded her arms, annoyed at the frilly angel. His wings made her head hurt, they had a white glow to them, and in this dark place it made them seem brighter. But he was pretty to look at; a nice face with a straight jawline, short dark hair, and eyes a shade of blue you could swim in.
"What do you mean volunteered? Stop speaking in riddles old man." Older angels always smelled bitter to her. Like a chocolate with not enough sweetener (but she'd really equate him to a strong black coffee). He smelled bitter. Very bitter.
He chuckled, "Blunt as always, demon." His face suddenly hard and menacing, only a quick flash warned her of his attack. Hanah only managed to take a step back and half reached for her weapon before he gripped her face in his hand. She started to panic, her heart racing. "I could have killed you just now, but I wont. Because I have a proposition for you."
Was he crazy?! She had to get away some how. But his grip was insanely strong, there would be no way. "W-what do you want?" Hanah stammered, it was hard to talk with his hand around her mouth.
"I need you to kill some angels for me."
"What! Are you insane! The only reason I do it now is because they wont leave me alone! No way!"
"You don't have a choice demon. If you don't do as I say, I will kill you." He quickly cut his hand on a blade in his pocket and raised it close to her face. Hanah squirmed in his grip and tried to pull his hand off her with no avail. Angel blood was toxic to her kind, like poison. She would slowly and painfully die. "What do you think?"
An angels personal assassin... Shouldn't be so bad... "Okay! Okay! I'll do it." He let her go then and she collapsed to the ground. She barely got to catch her breath before he grabbed her wrists. He grinned at her as a searing pain took hold of her whole body. Hanah screamed.
After the pain disappeared and the tears stopped running, he held her chin up to his face. "A gift, so I know where you are at all times." With a laugh he vanished in a veil of light, leaving Hanah by herself to take in what just happened. Wiping away a tear, she noticed something on her wrists. A ribbon of silver and gold tendrils and wings wrapped around them. She licked them. Bitter.
"Looks like I'll have to invest in a pair of gloves..."
