TITLE
Jack & Thomas broke through the clearing. They stopped dead in their tracks and each looked at what lie in front of them and back at each other. Jack looked as if he was nearly going to break out in tears, and in truth, he was, though he'd never admit it. Yet Thomas was struck in uncontrolable laughter. "14 years", Jack whispered, almost too scared to tempt fate. "Well, come on then!" Thomas shouted and started to run. Jack stood there and stared a few seconds longer. Then he broke out in a run after Thomas. Who knew what lie in wait in the ruins? It was never meant to be found. There could be traps or anything. He knew Thomas had no patience to wait, but he was going to have to convince him to be careful. They hadn't spent nearly half their lives searching for this place, only to die when they found it. He shouted after Thomas until they both reached the grand entrance into the ruins. Even Thomas stood in awe of the ornate and grandiose doorway.
"It's even bigger than I imagined."
"Yeah..."
"So are we going in or just standing out here all day?"
"We really need to be careful. Who knows what kind of things they've done to keep people out."
"Really Thomas? I think the fact that it moves was suppose to be the thing to keep people out."
"Do you really want to risk it after all this time?"
"You have a point there.... Go on, check it out, but hurry!"
