Tossed aside and left for dead Doc, feeling defeated by the harsh hand dealt out to him closed his eyes never expecting to open them again. It was only when he re-opened them a week later, he realized he had been saved from the sewage ditch that he had been dumped into. Looking around he saw two bodies curled close together by a dimly lit fire. Then in taking a closer look he realized it was no fire they lay close by, but another sleeping creature! One of the creatures poked it's head up and gave an exaggerated yawn. "Your're finally awake" the pink creature cooed in her lovely voice. "Where am I?" Doc croaked, surprised by the harshness in his voice. "I have no strength to move". With a quick worried look the sweetheart jollin rushed to Docs side. "Don't move, you're very hurt". Doc looked around the room nervously. Noticing his alarm the jollin introduced herself. I'm Dokken, I'm Wrens best friend, she is our keeper." She says this with a certain air of pride. She nods over in the direction she came from "The little galactic celinox is Parcher, Wrens pride and joy, she found him abandoned before he even opened his eyes. He speaks to no one except Red." Doc glances at the two sleeping creatures.Nodding in there direction he replies "I'm guessing Red is the one I mistook for a fireplace?". Dokken chuckles slightly "oh yes, but never call him Red. Only Parcher, our keeper and I have that privilege, he'll warm up to you eventually though. Until then you can call him Nanaki." Doc tries to take all this in, but is finding himself more and more exhausted by all this talk. Dokken smiles warmly at Doc, "it's time for you to get some more rest, Wren has much more work yet to do on you and you'll need your strength, I suspect you will be quite surprised as to how much you've changed since arriving here. Dokken circles Doc and wraps her warm soft body around his, curling her tail under his chin for support. As Doc starts to nod back off he thinks to himself, funny I can smell her fur, it's like berries, but shouldn't I be able to feel it's softness against my own body....
