Journal Entry 59Preface and Content Warning:

The warning itself contains a warning: Skip it if you wish to interpret her journal as you wish.

Mia attends middle school and achieves average to above-average grades. Her parents decided to have only one child, and have been able to maintain their upper-middle class lifestyle. She has a few friends that keep her within school circles, and she is reasonably liked among her peers, teachers, and family. Among all these people, she is not close to anyone and does not share her emotions—it is not intentional on her part, because she merely feels no compulsion to share and prefers to hear others reveal their secrets. Sometimes her parents mutedly speak about concerns for their daughter, but are able to dismiss their fears because she is such a good girl.

Other than her studies and musical extracurricular activities, Mia is a murderer. She has only killed other students from her school and schools in her area. She is not worried about being caught, because she takes…necessary precautions.

Mia rides the bus to and from school, and rides her bike to and from the bus stop. The town she lives in is a tad out of the way, considered to be in the “desert”. It is still considered safe, but the strange disappearances are frustrating the community and authorities. Behind her house at the end of the court, begins the forest. This is where she lures her victims and discards the bodies.

Her journal reflects her sociopathic nature and almost schizophrenic frenzy; she is easily distracted and completely unempathetic.

This is also where her future adventures begin.

Journal Entry 59

[doodles of rooms with bars, a box connected to a ceiling with an unraveling rope, and a dark stain]

The school gathered an assembly today. The teachers were all upset and wanted to make sure that we had our walking-buddies for our trips home. They're gonna be walking in pairs now, yuck! The assembly made us skip P.E., so that was good. It's all sweaty and gross. The assembly room has air conditioning!

Oh yeah, I should say it before I forget:

They still haven't figured it out! I brought her an apple and she said she wouldn't tell. Ha, of course they wouldn't. But like I would have given any of them a chance? She ate the core and all, even though I told her that seeds can be poisonous. I didn't poison it, but I still wanted to let her know. Ooh, maybe that's something to do? Cherry pits are too, not that anyone would be stupid enough to eat them. Unless they're so fat and lazy. Yuck. It's funny how I warn all of them, well most, and they still go for it.

Headache, dizziness, confusion, anxiety, and vomiting! Gross. I don't want to clean up that last part.

I tried my new toy on the last one. Did I even say what it was? I haven't written in here in a while. Been too busy! Too much fun going on, hahaha

[doodle of some rope, a knife]

Well it's normal anyway. The only reason why it's fun is because it's new to me. I found it out near the last one, that's why he got it. Lucky I went out that night to check, he had started to get out. Before I got this one last week, I made a new hole. This one is safe, and I even put posters up. Probably bored those pictures into whoever gets to be in there.

It had rust on it and was near the trap door. I wonder if there is more treasure? It's almost a 6 mile walk into nowhere, so everything is abandoned. I'm not worried about being caught out there, and the ones I've used are all hidden well...

So she ate the apple, and was still hungry! I gave her a picture I found in the school corridor. A picture of her and her hobbies, so pitiful. She cried and hugged me while I shushed her. They want me to feel bad for them, but I just smile. "Aww poor baby" Haha

I gave her the choice today! I'm almost giddy waiting for tomorrow night~ I hope Mom doesn't want me to stay after school for violin practice. Bleh. Well I guess it could wait. I need to work on my new scales.
