This was the moment he'd been waiting for for years, ever since the group had made their debut. The man he loved was right there in front of him, barely six feet away. He felt his knees go weak and his heart threatened to thump out of his chest as the line grew closer every minute, and he clutched at the album and drawing he had done in his hands like his life depended on it.

He watched how the man smiled at every person he spoke to; a wide, open mouthed and sincere grin that he knew would brighten up that person's day, week even. He watched how the man's hands glided with the pen so smoothly over the other peoples prized possessions. And again the man smiled, waving goodbye and flawlessly going to the next person, unbroken in his beaming smile.

A smile that the man seemed to have an endless supply of.

And then, he was next. He stared into the face of the one he loved and couldn't help but smile back. It must be contagious, he thought. His heart swelled with love as he presented the drawing to the man. (He'd always been good at portraits, but he'd put all his love into this one.)

"I drew it for you. It's a present, please, you can keep it."

The man in front of him looked at the drawing with wonder in his eyes.

"This is amazing, thank you very much." The man's eyes trailed down to the album he was still clutching. "Would you like me to sign that?"

His cheeks reddened and he nodded, passing the album over as quickly as he could without fumbling.

"What is your name?" The man asked, looking back expectantly. A light brown wave of hair had come out of place in the man's perfectly styled hair and he wanted nothing more than to gently push it back into place, then trail his fingers lightly down the man's cheek to cup his jaw and...

"Kim Min Kyung." He replied hastily. The man grinned again and started scribbling on his album. He watched the man's hands work, not taking in what he was writing, only the way his hands looked up close.

The man was beautiful.

He looked up once he was finished and offered the album back with two hands, Min Kyung receiving the same way.

Then, Min Kyung found his courage.

"May I please have a photo with you?"

The man considered it for a moment. "Manager doesn't normally let us, but you did this wonderful drawing for me so it would be rude not to."

He stood, and Min Kyung had to fight a sharp intake of breath - the fact this man had been made in heaven was an understatement. And he was gesturing for Min Kyung to come around his side of the table. He put his album back on the table and fumbled in his pocket for his phone. The man took it from him and handed it to one of the people who were helping behind the table, whilst Min Kyung picked up his album once more and gripped it in his hands.

Min Kyung couldn't even keep up with what happened as he stood next to the man and could smell him (a warm and comforting, nutty smell), and suddenly he was posing for the photo and the phone was handed back to him and then he was hugged.

His mind caught that bit.

The man he loved had pulled him into a hug and had wrapped his arms around his shoulders. Min Kyung melted into the embrace and held on to the man's waist, not wanting it to end. The man encompassed all his senses - he could hear his breath by his ear, his scent filled Min Kyung's lungs, and every nerve in his body felt electric and alive.

And then it ended. And the man was bowing and Min Kyung was bowing lower, saying goodbye and waving with as much energy as he could muster at that solemn moment. Then he lost himself in the crowd.

He looked down at his album and read the words, his emotions finally catching up with him as he choked on a sob.

Kim Min Kyung,

Thank you for supporting SHINee, and from my heart, thank you for the drawing. I will cherish it and remember you.

Thanks to the photo we had, you can now draw us together! Please show me next time we meet. I will wait for that time.
