My name is Sheridan. I'm not sure where I was born, but it was probably somewhere mundane.

Like a nest.

I do know my mother raised me with no other chicklings. While the neighbors in familiar trees had at least eight, I was a single baby egg, in a single rotten nest. It reeked of gross particles; yes, I mean feces. Random items obstructed my home, and while this wouldn't be a big deal for most chicks, I had nothing to distract me. While mother was gone, the large walls would tower over me... everyday, just a little beyond my reach.
