It surges from every being, pumping through delicate veins across the earth's surface, sometimes penetrating deep into the planet's core. An unseeable energy that sparks all life, washing across this planet like a blessed miracle, bringing with it the lush and fertile lands upon which so many live. And rarely, very rarely, two of these currents meet and the overlay erupts in a powerfully dense overgrowth that will springforth life so carelessly that the very essence of life becomes a seething poison. And on such fault lines guardians emerge, creatures of both soil and blood, maintaining the balance so that life doesn't flourish then fester, calming the currents that gush from the planet's veins.
