Desmond

A chimera is a bit of a tragic beast. They rarely, if ever, belong. They typically, simply, just... exist.

There are, of course, many tales of how the chimera came to be; most of which, are probably true. What they are, always, is an unnatural combination of various other beasts; such as a dragon and a Manticore.

What chimera equally are, are a beast to be wary of. Most legendary manner of being-- be that mortal, fae, or beast, has a place to belong. Chimera are born of lust and often cast aside from an early age; alone and directionless. They wander alone to fend for themselves; many walk the lone path their entire lives, some find company in other chimera, and a sparse few end up forging their own path to follow.

While they aren't always jaded and scorned, it's often hard to judge the moral compass when dealing with a being that lacks a solid foundation; mixed heritages teamed with this, can lead to a very unpredictable beast to cross paths with. It's always a good idea to keep caution in mind when dealing with any manner of chimera—caution, or at least, something to barter with.

• Has a good heart, but is a far cry from a sharp knife.

• Doesn't grasp sarcasm. At all.

• The type to maim first, and ask questions a week later.

• Capable of breathing fire (like most chimera)- thus, he brings new meaning to having a heated argument.
