Most stars are born in the great nebula clouds, nurseries to the heavens. They grow on stardust and gravity, growing and combining until finally they are big enough and hot enough to ignite The star that heard Alemis' wish was no such star. Born instead in a relatively small cloud of gas and metals left behind by her predecessor, the star Alemi existed far from her brothers and sisters, alone. How could such a star resist a wish, not to be alone, but to belong someplace, with those who loved her?

So, of course, she fell to earth.

Quiet and independent, Alemi rarely offers to help others and expects no help in return. She does tasks that need done without being asked, and to an almost perfectionist level of completion. She sometimes redoes chores that she feels weren't "done right" by other wishes, or her human companion, and insists on her interpretation of how things are meant to be ordered, the result of a life lived largely alone.

Alemi loves books, and pretends only to love long, erudite works, full of big words and no pictures, but secretly adores trashy romance novels and girly comics.
