The Way of the Warrior

Soundless had a peaceful life with his partner in a small islet within the Omen Islands, until the day he crossed paths with Merana. His young arrogance angered the sea witch, and as revenge she enslaved his partner and cursed him to an Hydrus form, stealing his voice as well.

For years he lived in agony over the loss of his beloved and his ability to speak, mingling with pirates and drinking heavily. His travels eventually took him to Shengui Guo, where he learned Bushido skills and how to fight using two blades, earning him recognition as a Samurai.

When Merana broke free, Soundless was ready to confront her. While it became clear to him that he would never get his partner back, the witch did return his voice to him after being bested by his Dragon Fang technique.
