dirty boi but keeps his bandanna clean no matter what. acts SUPER LAME but thinks he's RLY KEWL. everyone knows how lame he is but he's so sweet, goofy, and enthusiastic that people don't hate him for it. hella tiny but will stand up for you no matter what. not afraid to get dirty. probably thinks he's a ground type. the only thing that scares him is baths. tinier than your average Archen. refuses to evolve.

Old Bird Pokémon


Physiology

Archen is a small, bipedal creature with mixed reptilian and avian traits. Its large, red head is covered in discernible scales, and its neck has blue and red feathers. Its body is covered in untidy, sallow feathers, with blue, clawed wings that cannot be used for flight. It has short, thin legs, and a thin, twig-like tail that bears a diamond-shaped blue feather. It has wide white eyes with black pupils and no irises.

It is believed to be the ancestor of all bird Pokémon.

Behavior

Archen cannot fly yet, but it has an arboreal lifestyle, hopping between branches. Like their evolved form, they are likely carnivorous predators, hunting prey as they move about the forest.

Habitat

Archen are believed to be extinct in the wild, so have no habitat in current times.

Diet

Archen don't like Pokémon Food, but can grow a special plant with their cries, whose berries they like to eat.

Origin

Archen appears to draw inspiration from Archaeopteryx, believed by scientists to be the earliest of all birds, also referenced by its species as the "First Bird" Pokémon.
