You were not my mom by birth, but you were my mom, I only got to call you mom for a short time but the memories will live forever in my heart.

I called this pet Belonging because you gave me a place to belong, we met by a accident of fate, I stumbled into a place I had long since given up on calling home but that a little part of me always missed. We met that day and it was a instant click.

Within a few days we were friends, and we were talking about everything. You knew all the things that were going on in my RL and jokingly said you would be my mom since I never really had a proper one growing up.

The next three years I called you mom, and you called me your daughter. We shared so much in those three years. We didn't always get along but we always had eachothers backs even when things were bad. You taught me so many lessons, got me through some of the worst times in my life, and I know that had I not met you I would not be who I am today. You reminded me that family is so much more than just being related by blood.

Thank you mom, for being the mom I needed so bad. Thank you for being my friend, for listening to my million stupid rants, for having my back when I needed you the most. Like you used to say, I love you to the moon and back, and there's no such thing as goodbye, just see you later.
