My name is Flereous, and my minion's name is Seabreeze =D

Back when I was a Darkonite, I really didn't speak very well, I stuttered lots and was pretty clumsy with fragile things our family possessed. I was constantly breaking things without intending to...see, I was the REAL reason VeeJayHedgehog, our owner and momma, didn't keep things made of glass in our household ^^; Vee said that I needed more confidence, and she spent a lot of time raising me and my brother Ravenwing to have the abilities to properly convey our feelings to others. Ravenwing got to be his dream form, an Angelic Darkonite real early on, but I always had some personal fear of flying. I s'pose that that officially started in the pound when we were abandoned together.

Vee worked really hard to earn my trust especially, she trained me up, kept me warm and snug and always listened when I needed help. I really stuttered a WHOLE LOT when I was still a Darkonite. I didn't have any confidence, despite my older siblings always pushing me forwards and allowing me to take center stage a lot. To be really truthful, being in the spotlight really terrified the life out of me. I'd freeze up every single time, and during a few instances I actually physically made myself sick from just pure anxiety and worrying about making a fool of myself in front of everybody. I never used to manage that feeling very well, and Vee would constantly nurse and comfort me back to my normal self when it happened.

When she gained access to the Pet Zapper and the Ultimate Pet Zapper in Darkside after a long, lengthy process of getting Wizard Tokens from his daily quests, all of my siblings wanted a turn at it...except me. I didn't feel very comfortable with the idea at first, letting a couple of crazy scientists having their way with your genetic structure wasn't my glass of iced tea. I think it came about shortly after big sis Lotan, our family leader, was turned from her starter species, a Mortiking, into a majestic Glacier Tigrean. Then something started to click over in my head - this whole process, despite being pretty dangerous and reckless, seemed like fun. A lot of fun. After everyone had a turn with it, barring Ravenwing and Icestormer since they were pretty satisfied with their current colourations, I shyly put up my paw and volunteered for the process...

I've seen a lot of the world through different eyes :)

I've gone from a Darkonite, to a Telenine, to an Escalade, to a Tigrean, then to a Terracoon (incidentally, it's kinda fun being that small an' short, the world is so HUGE!). I've walked with the legs and tendrils of several Experimental pets, some of which kinda scared my littler siblings, which wasn't the intention... But the one pet I really, truly enjoyed being...was an Endeavor. I liked that body, the streamlined, mechanoid-like beast that stood a fair heads-and-shoulders above all the other species. I loved being that tall, taller than even my elder siblings, Jazellyn, Khepera, Lotan, .Supre. and Cyclonea. I loved having wings even more, despite my initial fears that I would never ever get used to the idea of having wings and flying in the beautiful blue sky. I discovered that, more than anything, I wanted to stay in this wonderfully tall, mechanical-like body forever. Unfortunately, the Pet Zapper had other ideas. I was returned to my original Darkonite body, and the dream to stay as an Endeavor kinda ended there. Or so I thought...

Vee didn't tell me what she was planning, but I knew something was up when she came home one night, rugged me up in a sweater and scarf and told me that she and I were going to the Arctic Frost. What on Atebus was she up to, I wondered, but she didn't say, she simply smiled and said she had business to attend to and just wanted me to accompany her. The train ride there was uneventful, I admittedly spent most of it dozing with my head on her lap. I'll admit this right here and now, I LOVE head-scritchies! It turns me into a silly, goofy foozball of a pet when I'm given them. As it happened, those scritchies kept me from noticing whatever was sticking up out of her backpack... I was too busy loving on Vee to even take stock of what shop we were walking into when we got to the Arctic Frost...yes, I know, my attention span needs a bit of work XP!

At first, the only thing I noticed were the brightly coloured pots of paint lined up in cabinets off to the side of the building we'd entered. As my attention was drawn away and I was eyeing off the various colour shades, I didn't see or hear the exchange Vee was having with Vanya, the owner of the establishment. It was only when Vanya called my name did I turn around, and realise what we were really doing there. In his left hand was an Essence of Melody, in his right hand was a Nostalgic Endeavor Toy. And then I saw the smile on Vee's face. ...Welp, you shoulda seen the look on my face when I realised just what we were doing there at that time of night, haha, I think I catapulted right into Vee's arms when I put two and two together! I let Vanya use the magical toy on me and when I opened my eyes, all I could focus on was I had become the species I had wanted to stay...and had become a Nostalgic Endeavor no less! Coming home consisted of me not being able to contain my joy on the train ride back to Centropolis, and taking flight from an open window and racing the train home...

It still hasn't quite registered that I am my dream species and colouration now; there's no more Zapping for me (it's lil' sister Ellodie's turn now!) and I can properly spend time building up my treasure chest. I love being able to fly free and spend time with my brother Ravenwing and our other winged siblings up in the skies now. I feel just like my heroes from my favourite cartoon show Metalswappers, Optimal Orbitshriek and Commander Primalsky when I take flight now.

It just feels so radical!
