Matsumoto's Guide On Using Your Assets

A presentation sponsored by the Shinigami Women's Association*.

Step one, appreciate your assets. Sometimes they're inconvenient and sometimes they slow you down by making it hard to squeeze through fences, but you shouldn't blame them for just existing. They have their uses:

As weapons. Just turning very quickly can be hazardous to those around you, so always be aware of your surroundings. Do not underestimate them because they're soft. Depending on your cup size you could be swinging hard enough to knock even a captain unconscious. Especially if they happen to be 133cm and standing near a wall when this happens.

As distractions. Say you do hit your captain but, unfortunately, he doesn't go down. You need to escape. So as you're running for your life make sure you're doing it in a narrow hallway with plenty of men. Run in a wiggly kind of way that accentuates the curve and buoyancy of your assets. And when the eyes inevitably glaze over, trip them up behind you, forming an uneven path or, if you're lucky, a mound. That will give you enough time to dive through the window around the corner.

For persuasion. So you've just outrun your captain, but you know that won't last. You need a plan. Anyone will do, but certain 9th division lieutenants are particularly susceptible to this type of persuasion. It won't even be as hard as all that running earlier. Just lean forward a little, perk up your assets and watch him agree to stall for you.

So now you know! Get out there and get creative!

Side note: Matsumoto wasn't going to come to the public presentation because she didn't have anything ready, but the captain was pissed, and she figured this place had to be safe because he never attended these things.

But then vice president of the Shinigami Women's Association, Nanao Ise, was adjusting her glasses in that if-you-don't-have-anything-prepared-I'll-dock-your-club-budget way of hers, and Yachiru pushed her on stage.

She improvised like her life depended on it. It really did.

Then the door at the back of the auditorium slammed open and the air was suddenly heavy with the fact that hell had frozen over.

“MATSUMOTO!”

But she was already out the back window, making plans to hide in the world of the living forever.
