For five years now there has only been one real constant in his life - pain. It started in his neck, pesky but bearable so he took his painkillers and shrugged it off as he had more important stuff to care for. The pain on the other hand only cared for him and so it slowly but steadily crept through his whole body, leaving its aching tracks everywhere.

Today there are times when it feels like every single cell in his body is screaming in agony, he is barely able to move and neither light, noises or smells are tolerable. In his old life he wanted to become a dentist, simple as that, but of course this isn't his goal any longer. He only wishes to find a way out of this tower that is his body, the tower of pain - a dragon can't be chained to earth forever, right?
