Alone. Cassius opened his eyes again and took a deep breath, followed by a sigh. Actually alone wasn't the right word for his situation. He had many friends and supporters and he was thankful for every single one but still it wasn't the same; not even an army large enough to conquer the whole world could ever replace them. In his mind he saw their faces, so perfect and clear as if they'd stand right in front of him. If they could indeed see him in this very moment, what would they think? And what would they say? Cassius tried to imagine it but he found no answer, not because he didn't know them good enough but because they were so full of surprises that everything was possible and impossible at the same time.
"I'm not doing it for myself only, I'm doing it for you as well!" he whispered and a soft smile appeared on his face. Yes, he would give his best tomorrow, for his beliefs, for his supporters and, above all, for these precious men that gave him so much but left him far too early. He would be brave for them, maybe for the last time in his life but even then it wouldn't be a loss as death's soft wings would finally carry him to their world~
Continue to love me as you do."
