Once upon a time there was a lain named Magnifi. He lived among a large family of lains, and though he wasn't the youngest, he was definitely the smallest. That never stopped him from stepping up in times of trouble however. If someone was being picked on, you could count on him to defend the innocent with a sharp beak and flurry of wings. Any who laughed at him soon found themselves learning a hard lesson.
Eventually, he grew up, and left Home for the last time, exploring everything the beautiful wide world of Subeta showed to him. He met all kinds of people, helped those in need, and read books from libraries and that he found along the way. His confidence never wavered, and he never became smug or dark from the things he did or saw. Instead, through experience a deep truth formed to him, and his heart expanded to include all living things, even those who wished harm upon others. He knew everyone had a reason for being the way they were. "Hurt creatures hurt creatures," He whispered to himself one day in a sudden realization. He vowed to treat even those who were cruel with love and compassion, and hope they one day could change.
His reputation had grown hugely over the years; people called him Magnifi the Magnificent. He was fair, he was honest, he was kind, he had a certain elegance in his walk. People always stopped him to say hello.. or give him his favorite presents, books, ice statues, and ice/water weaponry (to thank him for his service to every living thing) until one day.. he vanished.
He had decided to focus solely on training, and disappeared deep into the depths of the Polar Ice Field, making it his Home until the day the world would need him to fight for it. One day, a war would come... and he knew it. He would be ready- not to kill, not to maim, but to stop it with strength and love. He is Magnifi, The Magnificent.
