GossamerWings is a rather...uncommon sounding name. She is very proud of it though. Her tribe traditionally give youths entering adulthood names which express something about that individual. While an outsider may assume the name is intended to comment on the loveliness of her wings, it isn\'t. The word gossamer can mean \'sheer and filmy\' like a soap-bubble\'s skin A gossamer though is a spider\'s web which, to a race of Moth-like Therianthropes, symbolises a deadly and inescapable trap. Her name, therefore, is actually a comment on her fighting skill as well as her great inner strength and unstoppable spirit.

She can, like all of her tribe, shift form from that of a moth-like animal to that of a young woman with pixy-like wings and the feathered antennae of a moth. Her Human (or anthro) form is petite and delicate with waist length silvery white hair and gold coloured eyes. She wears wide silvery arm and leg bands which are ornamentally etched but also act as pieces of armor. Her clothing is made up of long overlapping layers which serve as skirt, dress and robe.

Kettlingr the Jag

While flying overhead in her animal-form or walking on the ground in her more human-like form GossamerWings is followed, watched after and playfully stalked by her Jag, Kettlingr. One of the relatively small -big cats- he stands a bit taller than a common Jaguar and is far more intelligent, though unable to speak he does communicate with his owner through subtle and complex body language and occasional vocalizations. To her he will always be a big kitty but if another harmed his mistress they would see the feral, predatory side which all cats possess.
