Erion often does not seem to fit into the family. After all, he is a creature absolutely devoted to what is good and right, and how can a creature such as that live peacefully beside Kazim and Shi? And the short answer is that he can't. Peacefully may be out of the question, but he can tolerate them. Besides, while he finds Shi repellant, he is torn on the matter of Kazim. Kazim does terrible, evil things. And yet he is clearly mad. Is it morally his fault if he is mad? Is it better to try and coax him out of his madness or just put him out of his misery? And besides, there are innocents like Cuero who need at least one good role model.

As such, aside from Wylde, Erion probably gets along best with Cuero and Kukai. Cuero because he has decided to take her under his wing whether she likes it or not. It is about fifty-fifty for whether she appreciates this. She is up for just about anything, but can be easily bored when he gets too 'preachy'. Kukai because he appreciates the others cheerfullness and willingness to help anyone, even if it does usually end in disaster. Erion is often the muscle actually getting things done in Kukais projects since the other can be counted on to injure himself with a plastic spoon.

On top of that, Wylde finds Erion useful because he helps keep Shi in check, and if necessary has the physical ability to go head to head with Sturm when she gets out of hand, though which of them would win in a fight to the death is still up for debate.

Erion is extremely well built, both from lucky genetics and from a lifetime of working out, fighting and hard physical labour. Sexually he is straight but so very, very chivalrous, proper and polite that he very rarely gets anywhere, and often will not even tell a women if he fancies her because it might offend her.
