To remove all doubts was not something to do. Her mother had lived among her people in her youth but could not talk. She was treated with cruelty because a proud, clarion voice was what her kind valued.

These treasures owed a debt. Thus the remainder was allowed to grow strong.Never risk the life of a new mother...yet mother had died while her foolish mate ambled on.
