"Look," a soft voice whispered in his ear. "Look at the mountains!" The larger of two purple Dillema's glanced upward, his lavender eyes searching the sky. "See?" the voice said again. "One is full of snow, and the other is burning with lava...."
"I can see it...." he said. "So what? It's just some more scenery. Nothing special about it."
The smaller Dillema snorted and flicked his brother on the head. "No silly! It's wonderful! Magnificent! Rare! Something no one has ever seen before. Come on! We should go take a look~!"
He sighed. "Fine fine. Come on then Oric. The sooner we go up, the faster we can go down........."
"You won't regret it brother, trust me!"
Will flapped his short wings once in annoyance but followed along behind his younger brother slowly. The next few hours would test those harmless words uttered in innocence to the end.
