Mommy says it's not good to play all day. She says sometimes we have to be PRO-DUCK-TIVE. Whatever that means. I know she doesn't really mind, though, because she always smiles when she brings me jelly toast every day for snack. It's my favorite.
Last week I drew her a picture of a turkey, even though Thanksgiving isn't for months and months. She put it on the fridge, right next to the painting I made her of our house. She always saves each picture I make her, she says one day they'll be worth so much money, maybe even one hundred dollars! That's a lot of money. I wonder how many crayons I could buy with that..
I love my Mommy and I want to make her happy, so I got a job at the Sharpie Production Center in Centropolis. It's actually a lot of fun. I get to help create new colors and make all kinds of art supplies, not just markers! Plus, they let me take home some of the stuff that they say is DE-FECK-TIVE. I thought I knew what that word means, but everything they let me have has worked just fine so I might have to ask Mommy what it really means.
I hope that if I practice enough and work hard enough, maybe one day I can be an artist. Mommy always says to dream big and work hard, that's the way to be what you want. She's a really smart lady, I want to make her proud. But I really just love to draw and color and create and - OH YAY, it's snack time, Mommy brought me jelly toast! ^_^ I better go, I don't want to get my books all sticky!
