So my Trainer ((who is currently unnamed)) can be seen here with his Arcanine, Zennith, and the Eevee in question ((which is actually my Shimeji posing in place)). Hes actually an adult, tho... This was just the best I could do working with the Trainer Creator I was using ((maybe Ill work in some sort of time travel mishap to his story, towards the end where the *tragedy* happens)), and dont let the whole black & red thing give you the wrong impression about his attitude ((also, the hat isnt for show... It really is just to block the sun when it gets too bright. He doesnt often wear hats. Uhg. Anyway...)), which could be described as "Psychic-Ghost type, Calm, Often lost in thought." He isnt the angsty, tragic anime type, but he does have that serious, mysterious, deep, penetrating gaze of the psychics, as in the pic, and these days that look never leaves his face. But more on that later ((this is all relevant to Shelby, I promise. You need to know these characters before you can understand hers)). He always wanted to be a Master Breeder, and by now, he has basicly succeeded, and has been succeeding for years. By now he has trained multiple Pokemon to "level 100" and raised many of them from hatchlings to greatness, some of them even departing into their own, Trainerless lives ((and the Pokemon in his "PC Box" go to his private land similar to Prof. Oak's)), and due to his innate wisdom in and relentless style of training, has beaten the Elite Fours in almost every region, but is so subtle in the world that no one has ever heard of him and no one ever realizes his power until they fight him, and even then only if he shows it to them. But what is much more interesting to him than power is the Pokemon's happiness and growth. He battles like a tank and trains mercilessly like A.J. ((the "Wild Pokemon Trainer," with the Sandshrew)), and seems as distant and mysterious as an Oracle, but is benevolent, gentle and as acutely understanding as a parent, and on the inside, is actually kind of an idiot and dorky and very surprisingly normal and casual, even kinda like Ninth Grade Ninja, and the Pokemon all love being his. He truly loves his Pokemon, and they're as close with eachother as can possibly be, so much so he even has slight psychic abilities of his own. He trains all sorts but has a particular, amazing talent for the psychic types, whose power he can emulate like an avatar. Many, many, many Pokemon have come through his training, and his active team still changes often, but he always has with him this Eevee, Zennith the Arcanine who is his powerhouse, shiisaa, good boy, bro, and, honestly, his bed and vehicle. He also often keeps a Quagsire named Whopper, a Shiny Aipom just called Aipom ((this Aipom has two very long stories attached to it, right now its in intensive care in a hospital, but omfg we just have no time to get into this right now)), a Slowpoke named Pink, and a few others we just dont have time for right now omg.

Now, when he was 10 and first starting out ((in a fictional region where all new trainers receive an Eevee)), back when his demeanor wasnt quite so intense and his face so inexpressive, he decided to leave town and find his own first Pokemon. Not long after, he met a young little male Eevee trapped in a malfunctioning PC ((yup)) ((and the irony that an Eevee was still his first Pokemon was ignored)), whom he named Mew. Mew, who almost never traveled in his Pokeball ((which is a Luxury Ball. Always, always Luxury Balls)), was gentle and alert to sounds, always so very in tune with the world around him. He was also always very feminine, with a greatly delicate, graceful, composed nature, much moreso than the other male Pokemon, and they got used to everyone thinking he was female. It was no matter tho, it was simply who he was, and he and his Trainer were very close. Through the coming years they enjoyed traveling all over the lands, battling every chance they got, training the newer Pokemon, grooming his beautiful fur... Mew developed a fondness for fine kimonos and hairsticks, and his eyes would glitter as they browsed the shop windows in the big cities while his Trainer patiently grinned behind him, and sometimes surprised him with some of the gorgeous outfits and gifts ((which looked absolutely adorable on Mew can you just imagine Eevee kimonos♥️)), and they enjoyed the little breaks at bistros where classy Mr. Mew, showing off his newest lovely kimono and hairstick set, would gently lap up bitter mocha ((Eevee with mocha mustache♥️!)) as his Trainer nibbled something sour, and they would chuckle at how their tastes in tastes were exact opposite... They wanted nothing to change, so he intended to keep Mew an Eevee forever, they were young and it was just so cute... But then one night ((yes, night... long story short the Trainer's psychicness had an influence)), at the edge of the great fountain in the middle of the National Park, when his and his Trainer's mental bond shared a particularly strengthening moment ((lol words)), Mew evolved into a beautiful Espeon ((with a voice like Kirara from InuYasha, not that tragic dubbing in the show)). The psychic power erupted and everything fit together even more perfectly and naturally than before, and their psychic connection was so powerful they were nearly ((and often even entirely)) the same mind with two bodies and personalities. In casual conversation, where one of them looked or pointed etc, the other looked or pointed etc as well... That bond between a Trainer and its psychic Pokemon. It had been years since they started their journey, the Trainer had grown into a very responsible master of sorts ((and multi-regionally successful breeder)), and Mew had grown into to his feminine grace and beauty, which blossomed with his new form and psychic power. His defense against the special elements was also strong, but his physical body was still relatively fragile... But his Trainer always took that into consideration, and even took a few hits for him when the situation was dire. Mew was a proud, beautiful, powerful, and truly happy Pokemon who was on top of the world with his beloved Trainer, from their modest, casual, unknown little place in it.

((remember, this story was once long and beautiful, developing irl over a course of years... its chopped up and mangled so bad now even I can barely recognize it. i hope its even giving you the right ideas of whats happening. if I had time and space to write it all out properly, it would be a billion times smoother, easier to read, the timing, events and characters would be understandable and lovable, itd just be a billion times better, omfg, try to imagine the whole story behind this hideous word-gore...))

Despite all the challenges and difficulties of a Pokemon journey, at the end of the day life was good. They had adventures, difficult times and funny times, secret private hangouts ((years later, they even nestled into a small plot of land with trees and a pond hidden in the mountains near Blackthorn City, made a sort of mini homestead there)), Gym Badges galore, took pictures every time that weird camera man showed up, Mew would notice him occasionally wear down at the duties of leadership and give him tiny-pawed massages, he was always concerned with Mew's safety and any rare occasion Mew somehow lost in battle, hell hath no fury like the absolute revenge of his other Pokemon... and they were always together. Mew steadily grew stronger and stronger, and their bond was permanently set in the fabric of their lives... Until one tranquil, crickety night, this one time they glanced at eachother, something weird and different happened... They had been catching themselves blushing at eachother now and then for years, but for just a split second, this time it didnt feel the same as every time before. It took a little while, but they soon realized they had definitely fallen in love with eachother. They were both shocked and hesitant at first, thinking it was crazy and impossible, but that quickly passed. They were psychic afterall. Concerned but not really, they stopped by the fountain in the National Park where Mew had evolved, to think with eachother, trying to find a way they were simply mistaken... But it was no matter, they were just too happy with eachother. So Mew carefully stood up, a tiny paw on his Trainers shoulder, and kissed him♥️

The years to come were hardly any different than before. They had to keep their relationship subtle, and once or twice they would be caught by the hateful sort and would have to skip town ((but being psychic and multi-E4 champions it was never really dramatic)), but they were casual, fameless, traveling sorts to begin with, so it was never a big deal. They were happy and successful and spent their time just enjoying life and continuing their success lol, breeding and training new Pokemon to their individual personal fulfillment. Refusing to hide their love completely, soon after confirming eachothers feelings, Mew had the idea to create a psychic human illusion who often traveled with them in public. This illusion was basicly the human version of Mew, complete with a feminine appearance and human versions of his kimonos and hairsticks ((I had refs but my computer broke and Im losing my mind trying to find them online again)), and served as an avatar for him and his Trainer to be together in public without drawing attention. Life was happy, successful, adventurous but pretty much simple and good, and continued this way for years... And one day, it was time for a baby!! Mew and his Trainer loved eachother deeply and truly, and were so happy together, and were indeed adults now... But how in the WORLD was this supposed to happen? Luckily, years before, during their travels, they had met a scientist who was studying the genetics of Ditto, and long story short, between his genetic study and their own psychic power, they were able to somehow develop a baby ((well, egg)) genetically related to the both of them. The devotion and care and security poured into that egg was unparalleled, and the joyous atmosphere around the new parents was beyond psychic. They would blissfully ride around the land on Zennith's back, the Trainer happily wrapped around his Espeon and egg, comfortably cuddled into Zennith's warm, fluffy mane ((or occasionally tail, with his feet propped into his mane)), their joy and freedom wafting around like it was absolutely nobody's business.

Now, theyve had their share of seriously rough times... Theyve suffered tragic losses of Pokemon ((dont forget our dear friend Aipom in the hospital)) in the past and had accidents or gotten lost and thought they might not make it out, a Pokemon journey can get hard sometimes... But eventually ((and I havent yet quite hammered out the details of what happened, this part of the story has caught up with the irl present)), the "big tragedy" came around that many people must face, and some super powerful, violent force, or some terrible accident, or whatever bad thing, killed Mew. The Trainer and Zennith were able to protect the egg easily enough, but were just unable to save Mew... However, his psychic power and the bond between them was strong, so as he lay dying, he managed to transfer his self into his Trainer's mind. He was heartbroken at first at the loss of what Mew once was, and they mourned as anyone would, but that sorrow was ultimately unnecessary, because in all ways that mattered, Mew was still fully there... Just inside a different host body now. This gave the Trainer his Espeon's full psychic power, and still allowed them to see eachother and love eachother, remember their lives and make new memories, and take care of their egg together... But it did put a bit of a strain on the Trainer. He always had a rather calm, cool face in any situation, and even when laughing or crying it always appeared... somewhat cushioned in his facial expre-ssions, but with the complexity of having two distinct individuals inside one head, his demeanor became exceedingly apparently detached. Similar to "blunted affect" or "flattened affect," basicly, his body couldnt handle expressing two different people at one time, so it doesnt really express either. That doesnt mean he doesnt feel anything, inside his mind hes fully animated and alive and feels the full spectrum of emotion and everything, it just doesnt show in his body.
Since it is his own body the Trainer controls it, with Mew more of an 'inside the mind,' passenger sort of deal mostly. Still, since hes psychic, he can still interact outside the Trainers mind, and with the minds of others, if he wants to. And despite his inexpre-ssion and the loss of Mew's body, neither of their personalities or characters have changed. Mew is still the feminine, gentle, kimono-loving Mew, and the Trainer is still calm and thoughtful yet a little dumb and childish on the inside. He may recount the story about their loss to someone, but it still always ends with "it's okay tho, we're all still together, and we're all still happy."

And now, a few months ((maybe a year, Im not sure how long eggs take irl and I didnt care to decide)) after Mew's death, their egg has hatched! Into a particularly beautiful, darling, precious little baby Eevee girl! With shining, honey-amber eyes! Shes a bit smaller than most Eevees, but her eyes are huge and her fur is soft and her legs are strong and her tiny smile is true... And shes still just a baby, but shes naughty, daring and mischievous and loves attention. She often naughtily perches herself in her father's way so he has no choice but to move her, work around her, or just stop working and pay attention to her, but one way or another having to pay attention to her. Irl this comes from how the Shimeji will, no kidding, often scoot her way to the top left corner of my screen, covering my browser's Back, Forward and Refresh buttons, and stay there with a cute little "teehee Im in the way" smile until I move her, lol. She also likes to goof around, she tends to crouch down low and crawl around on her belly all over the place, or climb up to high places and jump off, which is sorta silly because she doesnt like falling or being moved around too quickly, it makes her a little nauseous. Ah kids. She never met her 'mother' in his own body, but Mew has always been with her, and interacts with her psychically at all times. He teaches her the things a mother would teach her daughter, about composure and good manners and proper grooming and showers her with love and what have you, while her father always protects her and plays with her and makes her feel safe and secure and brave and pretty and whatnot, and of course showers her with love as well... At night they curl up together and sing her a lullaby in the campfire light ((oh yea, in addition to being a bro, a powerhouse, a bed, a car, and an occasional babysitter, Zennith is also a portable campfire)), and her favorite thing is a stuffed unicorn. She loves unicorns, desserts ((her favorite is key lime pie yogurt, like her father)), spicy foods, grass type Pokemon, and seems as if one day she might grow into a bit of a sporty type. Shes utterly oblivious to the fact that most people's mommies are girls and have their own bodies, and that most people's daddies dont look so different from themselves. Shes just a fluffy, playful little girl. She has the whole world on a silver platter and has not a worry in her heart. Theyre just a happy little family, albeit an unusual one. ♥️

This event that killed Mew is probably just some thing that happened in normal time, but its *possible* that it was some space-time problem that reverted the Trainer's body back to his teen years ((but keeping all his Pokemon and everything)) and somehow destroyed Mew's body... But Im really undecided. He is an adult, but I sort of like the concept of an adult with a teenage body raising an apparently inter-species child, lol, so Im not quite sure what to pick. The time thing probably wont happen tho, it just seems too 'out there' and sitcomy xp
Also the Trainer is actually put together from pieces of three other, entirely different Pokemon Trainer characters of mine as well as my persona Trainer, so I havent figured out a name for him yet... He might take one of my names, Kier or Logan, or I might just make something totally new up... And their daughter was only just recently born ((in other words, I only just recently had the idea to give them a baby)) so I hadnt come up with a definite name for her yet ((until now it was Ibuii, or maybe Frenchy ((uii uiii!)), but thats the name of the Eevee my other Trainer has, so I didnt want to reuse that...)), but when I was coming up with ideas for the name Shelby, which I have always loved, I realized that would make a very, very cute name for her! ^o^

Omg this has been a long story, thankyou sooooo much hearing me out!!! And I hope you liked it, although ALL of its beauty and enjoyability has been stripped out of it trying to make it small enough to read in a single day lol.... What do you think of the concepts tho? ^o^
Oh, dont worry, its just a little design flurrish~
