Then why, you ask, would you bother reading my story, if you cannot distinguish between when I am telling the truth or when I am spinning you a tale? My answer is this: like every action I have ever taken, I am doing this for myself. I don't have to be heard or acknowledged, I couldn't care less if no one cares to read this, but if I am to die tonight, my thoughts need to tangible. I need to know that they exist, that I exist, that I have left some print of my existence on this world.

I was born in a brothel in a village called Bridge, on the outskirts of Ondastad. I later learned that Onda Stad means "Evil City", which I find quite fitting. Perhaps if I'd had known then I would have left this damned place behind me and led an entirely different life. But this is about what was, not what could have been.If you hadn't already guessed; my mother was a whore. She cared far more about lifting her dress for drunken old men than she did putting clothes on my back and food in my stomach. I hated her. I hated her for bringing me into this world and I hated her for her lies. It's ironic, really.
With no mother to teach me and far too many “father” figures, I had to gain knowledge of life elsewhere. I learnt a lot from an unlikely friendship with the daughter of the town priest. She was a pretty thing, Klaudia. I used to watch her from my window; she was perfect. Never would you catch her with a spot of dirt on her dress, nor would you see a strand of hair out of place. She was the model daughter and figurehead for the church. It is clear to me now that my attraction to Klaudia was based purely on my longing for affection, to fill the hole that my mother left when she was screwing men in the brothel inside of consoling me over the blood pouring out of my head when I fell and landed on Mrs. Kutch's stove.
But just as I was wrong for assuming that ???????, so too was I wrong about Klaudia. She most certainly was not the innocent daughter of a priest. She was a fox. She taught me how to be with a woman, how to please them, tease them and what it was to love them. And then; when I caught her with the bakers son, she taught me how to hate them.
