Welcome aboard the planet caravan.
I am the astronaut wanderer. I roam these galaxies to study and take notes on all forms of life, and I've been doing this for many, many ages. For more millennia than you can count my kind sends their explorers; sometimes in human form, sometimes as little animals and, in some specific situations, as freaks that some of you may call "cryptids" - but don't worry, we always fix these bugs in our data before you can capture our problematic creation. I, Caelya, am for the very first time on planet Earth. And I'm taking notes.
There's a lot to see here (many of the places I've been to were either too tiny or too empty, there wasn't much to do. I think I've only seen three or four planets as big and fascinating as Earth before.) and even though I am impressed with how big and beautiful your planet is, makes me sad to know that I came in a bad moment: the place is full of weird vibrations, waste and pollution, and I fear these might harm my carbon-based form. I've read your books, I've talked to your elder and now I know that not many centuries ago there was a lot more of those green fields and forests, and I sincerely wish you didn't have had to take so many of them down in the name of progress. I wrote about it to my family on a postcard. I've sent so many of them, even though I am aware of the fact that most - if not all - will end up lost, floating around the Milky Way until they find a black hole that will take them to the otherside. I wonder who receives them there. Whoever it is, I'm glad it at least answers.
