Seradar is an old rich wizard, though he only appears to be about 85 years old he is actually several thousand years old only physically aging once 50 years have passed. He is kind hearted and wise, though despite this he is also a strict teacher for those who want to learn magic from him. Reckless conduct or stupidity on the part of the student often results in a swift bop on the head from his staff.
He spends alot of his time either traveling to help others with his spells or at the library at which Lavinia works as her boss and fellow co-worker. What times he is not doing either he is at his home which is a decent sized castle with high enough ceilings and massive doors to allow his pet dragons to roam freely.
Seradar is a fairly powerful wizard but does not abuse his spells to aid him in everyday life. And he calls anyone who does do this foolish and wasteful.
