For years many have taunted me with insults. Claiming I wasn't good enough, or that I wasn't strong enough. That I'm just a weak little kitten that needs to be put in her place for good.
Yet, here you are now. You tremble beneath my gun, terrified for your shallow existence. Begging for me to spare your life. That you didn't mean it, that you didn't do it. But I've seen the skeletons in your closet and now the whole world knows... So, it begs the question.

Brief History

Soda of the Thunderclap is very young; she is only 98 years old. In her short lifespan she has felt the warmth of love, the shock of betrayal and the blaze of vengeance.

Soda was born in 1914 in the south of the Russian Empire, to a band of Russian Cossacks. Although a female, she was given more military training than most of her sex due to her father, who was a High Demon who favoured the band.

During the Russian Revolution, her family sided with the Tsar of Russia. Despite only being twelve at the time, the young half-demon fought in some small-scale operations under the guidance of her father. It was during this time she learned to be self-reliant and to place family and duty above all else.

In 1919, her mother was captured by a regiment of the Red Army. After a few days in captivity, the fragile woman gave up the location of the host where Soda, her father and the rest of her band were hiding out. They were raided, which resulted in the capture of the High Demon and his daughter.

Her father, being influential within many circles, was ordered to be rescued. The Anomaly Removers took the job. By the time they brought down the Red Army's defenses, however, the Lord of the Thunderclap was already dead. His seventeen year old daughter still remained, beaten but not broken.

She was taken under the Removers and educated. However, she was not accepted by all; most of the demons only tolerated her because of her father, while the humans distrusted her because of her Russian heritage. By the age of twenty she was an apprentice agent, working small jobs under the supervision of senior members.

By the time she was twenty three she met a shifter by the name of Вадим ('Vadim'), who was at the time also a apprentice. After both had become agents in their own right, they married and settled in Russia once more in 1922. Five years later in 1927 Vadim and Soda opposed the current ruling party in Russia, quietly supporting the United Opposition. They were outed by his brother, and soon they were both arrested. Vadim was executed shortly after, with Soda being released.

Any sympathy Soda still had for humans and people in general died with him. She then left Russia for good, involving herself deeply with the Anomaly Removers, only ever stepping out of the Whisper Realm for a mission.
