STORY
Everyone in Subeta anticipated this day.
It finally came: Fireside!
Fireside, the festival which everyone celebrated as acknowledgment of the shortened days and colder nights of Autumn.
This day brought joy and curiosity, and everything else you could imagine...
It was a wonderful day, a great festival.
And who does not like celebrating festivals?
But this was not the only event of Fireside.
The Fireside was a very special day for the Montre Parloube.
It was the day he was born, and with him *Sparky, a small, loyal Newfie and his constant companion.
Parloube wore the color lilac, while his Newfie stood beside him like a small, flaming ball of fire.
Where Sparky came from, the Montre don't know.
It had simply been at his side, and between him and his Minion there seemed to be an intimate connection from the start.
The two were great friends from the beginning.
It was a beautiful day.
Twilight came quite early and the cold with it, just as it should be.
It was already dark so early, that it seemed as though it was later than it actually was.
But there it came anyway, early as it pleased.
As the sun went down and the moon was pushed into the sky, as the night fell, something incredible happened.
At the very hour the bonfire was lit and the pile of wood began to burn, Sparky sat down on Parloube's back and, as if in chorus with the bonfire, the Montre began to burn...
He burned like a Reborn!
On his back grew wings with which he was able to fly and glide through the cold of the night.
Bright, he stood before the blazing fire of the Bonfire and his eyes, which had previously shone golden yellow, now were blue, and staring into the flames.
With a fixed gaze, he followed the story of fire, who told him this:
"At the day of Fireside a Montre was born.
Not just any Montre.
It was a special Montre --
A Montre whose equal had never been seen in Subeta!
At night, when it was cold, it blazed like a reborn, bright, warm ~
In the day, however, the fire burned out and it had the cold but pleasant color of Lilac ...
This Fireside Montre bore the name Parloube!"
Parloube blinked, to the story, a new warmth around his heart.
With a mischievous smile he went out into Subeta, to explore much more of this world.
He now knew his Story and the reason for his birth.
As a guard he would, at night when it was cold, donate light and heat to those who were afraid or frozen...
