Elle is a strange creature, born of the world of dreams. No one in the waking world knows what she truly looks like, as her image changes to suit her own purpose. Though most commonly she is seen as a 12-13 year old girl with straight shoulder length blue hair, or longer wavy blue hair, and honey-coral colored eyes. Though there is no way to be sure how closely, if at all, it is connected to the illusionistic girl's true image.
Elle was born and spent the first few centuries of her life in her native world, feeding on nightmares of the dreaming just as the rest of her kind, she came to enjoy watching the dreams and lives of these dreamers. Eventually, she would begin to change the courses of dreams, sometimes even speaking to the dreamer through them.
Of course she doesn't do it entirely out of benevolence. Most of her kind see dreamers as food, where as Elle views them much like a game, and as with any game, she has certain ways she wants things to turn out, acting to benefit those she takes a liking to, and pushing for events to unfold in her ideal image. Even when she was able to leave her home and enter the dreamers' world, she still enjoys the game and the winning thereof just as much. Her acts of kindness toward others is oftentimes to this end.
