Personality:

A caring, yet emotionally constipated young mercenary gone professor gone soldier gone back to tutor. He's calm and level headed in most situations, bearing an open mind for magic and supernatural things, but general applying logic. Though he struggles to express emotion, which he blames on bearing the soul of the Goddess from his world in his body, he still manages to extend care to those around him. A strong and confident teacher, he's extremely protective and watchful of those he cares about. Though he has not faced war in a while, he has not lost his battle instincts, and still has quite a strategic mind.

Even though Bylad and Shairekhan call themselves siblings, they are in fact two of the same person but from different timelines. Bylad comes from a Fodlan in which he taught the Golden Deer, joyfully bonding with Leonidis and the meme team. He quickly became an extremely deft and popular teacher, recruiting several students from the other two house. He bonded greatly with all of them, even developing strong feelings for a student named Linhardt and developing a tight bromantic friendship with Leonidis. Caring greatly for all of his students, he was cared for in return during the loss of his father. Their support got him through it, and even led to him later hunting down Those Who Slither in the Dark during the war five years after his teaching days. However, Bylad and his large group of now-grown students did not get to see this through due to a mysterious cataclysmic event that swallowed him and Leonidis away to the world of Subeta where the two now live under the protection of The House of Loving Counsel. Bylad mourned his lost friends and crush for quite a while, but now buries that pain whilst working as a tutor for the sanctuary. And now it seems he had finally found love again.
