I hear you when you breathe, deep inhalations in the night.

You look so alive with your parted lips, the slight flush to your pretty cheeks. The way you twitch as a dream takes hold, sprawled out in an open repose that invites the gentle caress of my touch. Can you feel me as I glide closer; whispering folds of night swathed in black cloth that carries the scent of sweet, rotting flesh? I am delicate, like a rolling mist that creeps across the moors, sensing you tremble beneath me. I can feel your warmth, your breath against my hooded cheek. Our lips brush; yours' taste like life while mine are cold, unyielding and in that instance you wake. Ah- such a look of fear in those eyes, faded knowledge like some forgotten tome. The scream you utter is the last you shall ever take as I seal the pact with a hunger, drawing forth your life in a dizzying spiral that will take you straight to hell.

Ah- the taste of you, sweet flesh, bursting with fading life as I devour everything you are, everything you would have been. Mine was the last face you saw and so shall yours be my little readers.
