Manta is an orc who was trained as a smith by her mother but had to leave her home when her village was attacked. Ripped from her roots she took to adventuring and eventually found herself desperate for some coin, but no smith would hire her, and so she took to mercenary work. She worked for a decade as a mercenary, mostly guarding either cargo or people. She never cared for that line of work, but it was all she knew, and it paid well enough. She finally quit after a job gone horribly wrong, something she refuses to ever talk about.

Manta is the youngest of three sisters. Her older sisters are Muira, the eldest, and Melva. She grew up in a small village, raised by their mother. She enjoys cooking, gardening and crafting. She is also skilled in horsemanship, her mare Queen being her pride and joy.
