Analyst was a common office worker who spent little time on himself and a lot of time on others.
Well he is technically still a common worker, he's just not in an office.
The afterlife doesn't have cubicles. Thankfully.

Death was an unimportant shift and there was little for him to adjust to. The details never came up, there was no light, no movie, no long forgotten relatives waving happily. He once thought it would be nice to have wings and a little harp; but that was when he was staring at the little cherubs that graced the walls of his youth camp for hours on end, waiting for the bell to ring for 'free play'.
What wasted days of youth he would think back to them as. All that time he could of used to study harder and maybe graduate a little earlier and then maybe be the one in the corner office with the large windows embracing the sky. if only...

When he was forced to take an elective in school he regretfully chose art. He had a high sense of self that got him top marks for self portraits but he flustered greatly at abstract assignments and did not do well over all. Surely no employer would hold his middle school report card against him!
He was much more meticulous in his electives after that.



Anyway, back to his untimely passing.
He was given no choice and quite frankly, if he felt anything about it, was a little annoyed that it caused an inconvenience that morning.

Now he didn't quite expect things to work out the way they did but it's definitely an afterlife that suits him.
He does miss his plain grey suits though.. and he did at one time consider buying a bird. But! That life is gone and not having to deal with a morning commute is just swell for him. After all, since he can't leave and has no real physical needs, he can carry on with his assignment without stopping or even needing to think about anything else! Has he ever seen anyone but himself? hmm well he hasn't even seen himself since then..
