The views most of the 'divine beings' have on humanity are rather... dark. It is very rare for me to hear anything pleasant about humans while stuck in their company. Though I suppose to some extent I can't really hold that against them, the divine were some of God's earliest creations; only having their father's undivided attention for a small period of time before the mortals were created. Many feel abandoned, ignored, over the ordeal; hell (no pun intended), wars have been waged over this very notion, and a many of my kind have fallen from grace due to it as well.

Ironic as it may be, considering my reining position as the Angel of Death and all; I actually share many of Gods views on his little pets.

I find humans to be most amusing, fascinating to observe even; they never cease to amaze me with their constant, albeit odd, antics. That's not to say I have quarrels with obeying my creator when it comes down to doing my job; all the same, though, I can't say I mind being a wolf amongst sheep. I can most certainly understand Gods fixation with them; to some extent why he favors them over my own kind. Divine beings, or Angels as we're more commonly known, generally do not possess the will humanity was given. In fact, an Angel with a willful mind is frowned upon; hence the damnation of the fallen and all. We weren't given the option of having a free will; that right was revoked in favor of knowledge. The divine know the truth from the moment of our creation, therefore we have no cause for questioning, nor denying, our fate.

Humans, on the other hand, are born blind and unknowing, allowed to make their own paths in life; deciding for themselves what they do, or do not, believe in. To some extent, I pity them for that; I possess no jealousy, nor ill will, towards their God given right to do as they please with their life.

Then again, I do understand why a many of my kind do hold contempt against humanity. They don't have the luxury of living amongst them; getting to experience their shenanigans first hand. I suppose that is a shame, really; perhaps if God allowed his first born creations the opportunity to interact in the world below, they could more so see the reasoning behind the amusement. Then again, it isn't my place to judge, nor question the divine plan. I'm merely thankful that I was given a position that allows me to enjoy them; though, I do hope that isn't too selfish of me.
