Another long day sailing the vast seas, most people would feel uneasy surrounded by the water, but as for Charles this was not the case. He loved anything to do with the sea, he has been (what most people would call) “obsessed” you would think he would be afraid of the sea with the accident he had, but that wasn’t the case with him. When he was about five years old his father took him out on a ship to show him his work and what he did. It was later that evening, everyone was finishing their dinner and lounging around, Charles decided to go exploring on his own. As what seemed only mere seconds it began to storm. It has been brewing quietly in the background for a while and it decided now to unleash its true potential. The crew rushed around trying to fix the sails and prepare for what the storm had to offer. Charles was frantically searching for his father, his right arm held tight against the railing of the ship. He watched helplessly as waves crashed upon the deck, they looked as they were hands trying to grab anyone it could get and pull them down into the dark depths of the sea. As he was distracted watching he didn’t see the montersous wave that was towering behind him, before he could let out a scream the waves crashed down on him and pulled him into the sea. The further he sunk the quieter it became, he felt himself slipping away, just then something grabbed him and started to pull him up. He was too weak to move but as he gathered the last of his strength he turned his head he saw the face of a girl before he blacked out. When he awoke he gasped out for breath frantically swatting into the air.
