Some pets find the idea of being Darkmatter frightening, but not me. At least I didn't before the change.

I thought it would be awesome to have my own little group of Dark Matters following me around wherever I went. I begged and begged my owner to get the potion to change me. Oh, to be a colour which gives you constant companions! Doesn't that sound fun?

Let me tell you, it's not.

I didn't think it was possible for Matters to be so noisy! Look at the things. Do you see a mouth anywhere on these guys? No! Yet somehow mine always find a way to drive me mad by popping bubblegum or whistling out of tune. Ugh! Horrible little things. They just enjoy torturing me!

I wish I had never taken that potion...

Background

Misophonia is a neurological disorder in which certain sounds trigger negative emotions (anger, disgust) and/or a "fight or flight" response in sufferers. It is also known as Selective Sound Sensitivity Syndrome (4S) or, less commonly, Sound Rage.
